how to reach the farm between the Valpolicella valley and Lake Garda

The holiday farm Terra e Sole (Land and Sun) is located along the highway SS12-Brenner, in an ideal position to meet the needs of each guest: it's just minutes to Lake Garda (11 minutes), to Live Nature Zoo Safari Park (8 minutes), to Gardaland (12 minutes), to Movieland (12 minutes), to Spa Thermal Bath Park Villa dei Cedri in Colà-Lazise (9 minutes), and to the art cities of Verona (20 minutes). It's a very convenient location to reach the Mount Baldo (15 minutes) and the beautiful areas of the natural park of Lessinia Mountains (40 minutes).

The cottage has private parking. In front of the farmhouse there is the bus stop which connects with the city of Verona, Lake Garda and the heart of the Valpolicella valley.
The farm is reachable by the hignway autostrada A22 (Affi or Verona Nord exit); the State Route statale SS12 Abetone-Brenner; by train (Domegliara railway station 2 km); by plane (airport of Verona-Villafranca).

Nearby there are numerous nature and historical trails: The Chiusa, Veja Bridge, the Falls of Molina, Mount Baldo with its panoramic cableway, the Golf Marciaga, Prun stone quarries, the Wood of the Poets, the many rock climbing, the Adige river with its beaches.

Moreover the Villa del Bene, the Forts of Rivoli, Monte and Ceraino from which this area is called Terradeiforti, the characteristic Sanctuary of the Madonna della Corona clinging on the rock, and much more.

Nearby are several supermarkets and Affi malls and the Grande Mela shopping centre (Big Apple).

Between the blue lake and the green countryside, you will find hospitality, simplicity and a cozy atmosphere to spend quiet days in contact with nature.

Moreover, moving a little, you can reach Verona (20 km), Mantova (50 km), Rovereto (40 km), Trento (70 km) and Venice (140 km)..

The wines of Valpolicella, Terradeiforti and Valdadige

In our area many grape varieties are grown, for example Enantio and Casetta, from which it produces excellent, full-bodied wines with DOC denomination (controlled origin denomination): Valpolicella, Terradeiforti and Valdadige.

The farm is in the path of Terradeiforti and Valpolicella Wine Road, where there are a lot of wineries and retail outlets that offer and sample the local products.

This area is also named for its marble, granite and stones working and production area, all of which are at the heart of the local economy.

• On Lake Garda can practice various sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, water-skiing. The villages of Bardolino, Garda, Malcesine and Torbole are easily reachable.
• In winter you can go skiing and snowboarding on the ski slopes of Prada Monte Baldo, Saint Valentino-Brentonico and Folgaria, about 30-40 Km far.
• The modern rotating cableway Prada - Malcesine - Monte Baldo is just minutes from the farm.
• Nearby there are many paths well known and practiced by the bikers.
• Possibility of horse riding and cycling on the various bike paths
• Outputs are possible with canoe on the river starting from the Canoe Centre of Pescantina
• For a group evening we also recommend the Bengodi underground city, in Bussolengo (Verona).

Lake Garda beach (9 km) Close to our lodging there is also a wonderful and relaxing beach on the shores of Lake Garda.	Terme Villa dei Cedri SPA (15 km) Located between cypress, yew-trees, and centuries-old beech-trees. Coincidentally a thermal source was discovered which transformed the splendid park in a place of joy. Nowadays you can find your own well-being in the embrace of the warm thermal waters. The Thermal Park Garda offers a lot of occasions for leisure, amusement, sport and wellness. Nature loving people can go for walks in the neighborhood.	EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OIL MUSEUM (12 km) The mills, from the rural handicraft to the industrial technology: this is the thread of the OIL MUSEUM created by the oil mill CISANO DEL GARDA.
CANTINA VALDADIGE WINERY (16 km) It is a meeting point for valley and wine lovers. The winery presents all the wines of Cantina Valdadige, and you may taste them with local typic dishes. WINE MUSEUM (16 km) Into Valdadige winery there is a museum that gathers tools and instruments for wine making. Very interesting to see, among showed pieces, a press, a push machine and a manual pomp; a machine for fertilize spray named “gonsal”; a mechanic motor pomp.	MADONNA DELLA CORONA SANCTUARY AND BASILICA (19 km) The Madonna della Corona sanctuary, the most architecturally daring endeavour in Europe, is cut into the rock of a steep mountainside overhanging the Adige Valley, 400 meters above the river. If you park your car in the village of Spiazzi, you can either walk down or ride the shuttle bus that will take you along a country road immersed in lush vegetation. Alternatively, you can walk up from Brentino Belluno along the ancient unpaved pilgrims’ track and climb the 1,540 stairs leading to the sanctuary. According to tradition, an image of the Virgin Mary appeared among these mountains in 1522. Nowadays the Sanctuary is one of the most widely visited religious destinations in the entire Verona area.	TERRA DEI FORTI (0 km) The forts, the Sabbionara castle, the villas and noble residence, the parish churches, the Lessinia Park - that preserves the natural beauties and traditions of the Cimbrian people, the Madonna della Corona sanctuary: these are signs of the past and present of the Terra dei Forti. The slopes overlooking the valley are dotted with citadels, castles and forts following a path where the sacred and profane are mixed together.The Adige Valley was crossed by armies, pilgrims going to Rome, invaders, princes and bishops, artists, smugglers, travellers and wanderers of all ages. TO FISH ON ADIGE RIVER (0 km) We are on the shore of Adige river, where you can fish Trote iridee, fario, marmorate, ibridi fario-marmorata, luccio, temolo, cavedano, carpa.	ROCK WALL MOUNTAIN (200 mt) In the nearby there is a rock mountain of Monte Baldo, for amateur athlete and professional rock climbing.	VAJO dell'ORSA (9 km) In the Orsa valley, near Ferrara of Monte Baldo, Beppe Pighi and Alpine guides of Verona have open a canyoning path along the Orsa river very spectacular and amusing, and appeal a lot of fan from all over Europe.

SIRMIONE and the GROTTE DI CATULLO (40 km) Historical peninsula of the lake, where latin poet Catullo dwelled (I century a.C.). The "grotte" are remnants of an ancient roman villa of the first imperial period. It contains ancient paintings of I and II century a.C. .	Verona (21 km) City of Romeo and Giulietta.
